Torrevieja and Costa Blanca
The coastal town of Torrevieja lies in the Spanish region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. The area has one of Europes best climates with around 300 days of sunshine a year. Torrevieja itself boosts a beautiful sandy beach with a palm lined promenade, the perfect place for a stroll either during the day or for an evening. There is an excellent choice of shops, restaurants and tapas bars offering a lively atmosphere. Boat trips may be taken from the harbour at Torrevieja. Water-sports include windsurfing, Jet Ski's and scuba diving. There is a wide variety of entertainments nearby from water-parks to golf, something to please everyone.
